The Fort Collins KOA is just off I-25 north of Fort Collins. Our premium site was just like all the other premium sites. The site was level with 20, 30 and 50 Amp service, water, sewer and cable.

While the arrival day was in the mid-nineties, as evening arrived, a cool breeze began. Overnight, the temperatures dropped into the sixties.

The late evening breeze, while cool, came with the smell of money. The smell of money? Whenever Uncle Bob heard complaints about smelly cattle operations, he would turn toward the complainant and say “I only smell money.” A ranch/farm is next to the KOA.

The KOA is roughly ½ mile from the Interstate. Close enough to see but not close enough to be annoyed by traffic sounds. Early in the morning, a faint train horn could be heard as it passed through a railroad crossing.

The dog park was on the small side. The dogs didn’t seem to mind.
The bathhouse was in the KOA office building. There were four unisex/family bathrooms in addition to the regular men and women’s. All were clean. Compared to other KOA’s, the bathroom fixtures were relatively recent. Shower water pressure could be better.
Staff was friendly, respectful and helpful.
Best night of sleep in many days. I would stay here again.
Hope to see you on the road ahead!
